From its headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the company intends to develop and strengthen access to overseas markets with the support of local partners and agents. OSR's marketplace is global in nature and requires the presence and image of an international organization to maximize market penetration. A comprehensive three-year plan has been defined to launch the company into this expanding environmental protection market. The company’s current focus is on the Middle East and Australian markets where negotiations are proceeding.
Protection of the environment, whether land, sea, or air will continue to be a concern, accentuated every time there is a serious oil spill, and now more than ever, it is imperative that effective products and services be available. Since its incorporation, OSR has been well aware of the need to rapidly expand its capability to package and deliver these critical resources. As the three-year plan is implemented, the company plans to expand the COV technology to include several sizes in various configurations , specifically:
100 foot self-contained COV 30
40 foot self-contained COV 12
20 foot self-contained COV 6
10 foot self-contained COV 3
20 foot modular COV (designed to be dismantled quickly for transportation by cargo aircraft).
Note: COV 6’s and COV 3’s will be self-propelled with the COV 3 having remote control capabilities.
Building on the success of marketing COVs, and using experience gained while working on the OSRC concept, OSR will explore the potential to diversify the corporate product range into various related technologies which will include oil spill containments, recovery and disposal equipment, high-speed response vessels, hovercraft, surveillance aircraft, remote sensing submersibles, ad computerized management systems. To complete its business strategy, OSR intends to fully support its products, around the world, with comprehensive on-site training, consulting, and maintenance programs.
